Stephen Byrd, Jeffrey Carpenter & Scott Morrison present at NC-ACTE conference

Associate Professor of Education Stephen Byrd, Assistant Professor of Education  Jeffrey Carpenter, and Assistant Professor of Education Scott Morrison each presented at the North Carolina Association of Colleges of Teacher Education Fall Forum in Raleigh, N.C., on Sept. 24.

Stephen Byrd, associate professor of education, gave a presentation titled, “Gaining New Energy from Undergraduate Research: Teacher Educators, Teachers, and Students.”

Assistant professors Jeffrey Carpenter and Scott Morrison collaborated with colleague Michael Maher of North Carolina State University to present a session titled “Twitter for Teacher Education: The Why and How.”

Carpenter also gave a presentation with Lenoir Rhyne University colleague Jayme Linton titled, “Edcamp Professional Development.”
