'There's no place like home' for #ElonHome 2015

Make plans to return to Elon University from Oct. 16-18 for Homecoming 2015, a weekend of events that include football, tailgating, alumni award ceremonies and an inaugural 5K run. Follow the excitement with the #ElonHome hashtag on social media!

Elon University welcomes back to campus this weekend alumni of all eras for Homecoming 2015. From tailgating and football to alumni wisdom sessions and service opportunities, there’s something for everyone in a schedule of events that begin Friday morning and conclude midday Sunday.

To make the most of your Homecoming weekend, download the new Elon Guides mobile application. The app includes customizable schedules and to-do lists, interactive campus maps, information about campus resources and social media connections. Throughout the weekend, updates will be provided through push notifications.

Follow the instructions below to download the app and take some time to explore it before you arrive on campus for Homecoming. Feel free to contact the alumni office at alumni@elon.edu or 336-278-7500 with any questions.

To get the Homecoming 2015 guide:

  1. Download the Elon Guides App. From the Apple App Store or Google Play, search “Elon Guides” and download the app.
  2. Download the Homecoming Guide. Open the app and search “Elon Homecoming 2015” under the list of public guides. If you can’t find it, search for “Homecoming” in the search bar.
  3. Get this guide. There will be a pop-up window with the event overview. Click the button and allow it to download. It may take a few minutes; the guide will open when it is done.
  4. When prompted, enable notifications. It is very important that you allow notifications for the Elon Guides app when prompted because this allows you to get push notifications for important updates, such as rain location changes, during the weekend.
