Students are invited to discuss Senate Resolution 16-1 on Thursday, April 21, at the Student Government Association's 7:30 p.m. meeting.
On Thursday, April 21, the Student Government Association will introduce a resolution denouncing North Carolina House Bill 2 (HB2). The resolution, which supports the university’s statement of inclusivity and respect, can be found at this link. As representatives of the Elon student body, the SGA invites all students to come to Thursday’s meeting and voice any concerns, questions or comments in regards to the resolution. The 7:30 p.m. meeting will begin with an open forum. At this time any student who would like to speak about the resolution will be welcome to do so.
The Student Government Association supports Elon in its commitment to non-discrimination. The SGA will continue to stand for equal rights for all students.
