It's 'Fake Break'! Find out what's open when

Wednesday, Jan. 25 marks the start of "fake break" — the time between the end of Winter Term and the start of Spring Semester. 

​The break between Winter Term and Spring Semester — “Fake Break” — following Winter Term exams has begun and will end with the start of Spring Semester classes on Monday, Jan. 30.  

All residence halls are open during the entire fake break.  As a reminder, Campus Safety & Police are operating as normal during the entire break.

Find below information about changes to campus operations and some of the activities to be helpd during this short break before the start of the next term, and best wishes for a safe and relaxing break.

Activites on campus during “Fake Break”

Koury Athletic Center – 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Monday – 24 hour schedule resumes at 8 a.m.

Health Services Hours

Health Services is available by appointment only.  Appointments can be made through PhoenixHealth or by calling 336-278-7230. If a student is experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 for immediate assistance.

Thursday – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Counseling Services Hours

*Counseling Services is available by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 336-278-7280. If a student is experiencing a psychological emergency that is life threatening or involves imminent danger (risk of harm to self or others at any time), call 9-1-1 for immediate assistance.

University Drive Line – Normal Schedule

Friday – 4 p.m. to midnight
Saturday – Noon to midnight
Sunday – Noon to midnight

All other lines not running Thursday through Sunday. Saferides will not be running during Fake Break.
