Rosie Ruzzi, a senior majoring in English (Teaching Licensure), and Jordan Stanley, a senior majoring in English (Professional Writing and Rhetoric and Creative Writing) with a minor in Communications, presented alongside Julia Bleakney, director of the Writing Center, and Paula Rosinski, director of Writing across the University, at the Southeastern Writing Centers Association Conference on Feb. 16 held at Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi.

The four presented on Writing Center Fellows, a Writing Excellence Initiative/Center for Writing Excellence program that assigns experienced Writing Center consultants with major courses across the disciplines to work with students on their writing and with faculty on their writing assignments and classroom instruction. The presentation focused on the results of student surveys from Fall 2016 and on the experiences of Ruzzi and Stanley as Writing Center Fellows.
