The Elon University women’s lacrosse team is set to make its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament this weekend, taking on No. 13 Virginia at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The game will air live on ACC Network Extra through the WatchESPN.com and ESPN3 platforms. This season, Elon played three games that were aired on ACC Network Extra and posted a 2-1 record with wins over the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech.
With a victory over the Cavaliers on Friday, the Phoenix would advance to the second round to battle No. 2 University of North Carolina at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 14.
