Thomas Erdmann’s latest book, "How Jazz Trumpeters Play Music Today: Twelve Interviews on Technique, Style, and Aesthetic," received a glowing review in the latest issue (October 2017) of the International Trumpet Guild Journal. Garrett Schmidt, professor of trumpet at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, wrote, in part, the following.
