The threat of rain midday means that the Senior picnic scheduled for today will be held in the Lakeside Dining Hall and second-floor Lakeside meeting rooms, with buffet lines in both locations.
The Senior Picnic planned for Under the Oaks on Wednesday, May 16, will instead be held in Lakeside Dining Hall and the second-floor Lakeside meeting rooms due to the threat of rain. Tickets are not required for this event.
The annual event hosted by The Office of Alumni Engagement and the Office of the Provost for members of the senior class, faculty and staff will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Lakeside Dining Hall and the Lakeside meeting rooms will each feature a buffet line to ensure there is plenty of room for the celebration of the Class of 2018.
As a reminder, this is a ‘zero landfill’ event. All products provided as part of the meal will be compostable or recyclable. There will be composting and recycling stations with appropriately labeled bins.
