Elon Law alum named among '40 Leaders Under 40'

The Triad Business Journal will honor Manisha P. Patel L'11 in February at a Greensboro celebration of young professionals who are "making the right moves" as future community leaders.

The Triad Business Journal is honoring an Elon Law alumna on its 2019 "40 Leaders Under 40" list in recognition of her contributions to the region through her advocacy and professional success.

Manisha P. Patel L'11 will be among the young leaders celebrated at a Feb. 21 awards ceremony and reception in Greensboro hosted by the news organization. The program runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Cone Ballroom of UNCG's Elliott Center.

Patel earned her juris doctor from Elon University School of Law and holds bachelor’s degrees in both economics and history from Virginia Tech. After more than six year in private practice, Patel recently started The Law Office of Manisha P. Patel, PLLC, a boutique family law firm in Greensboro, N.C. The firm focuses on domestic and family law matters, from separation through divorce along with other areas of law such as adoptions and domestic contracts.

She is currently president of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys. Patel also has been honored in recent weeks as one of North Carolina’s top lawyers for family law, earning for the second year in a row the Legal Elite distinction as published by Business North Carolina magazine.
