The New York City alumni chapter hosted their annual Elon Day party with a big crowd
Along with 37 other Elon Alumni Chapters, the NYC Alumni Chapter celebrated Elon Day 2019 with a lot of excitement and people at their annual Elon Day Party. The chapter's party was held at 5th & Mad. venue, which has been a proven space for multiple Elon gatherings. The event served as a wonderful opportunity for alumni to reconnect, make their gift, and celebrate their alma mater together.
Chris Sonzogni '13, NYC Chapter's events chair, spoke highly of the event and guests by saying, "The board is always excited to celebrate Elon Day and this year was no different. But we were blown away by the number of alumni that braved the cold to come out and celebrate together. It's events like these that show how strong the Elon alumni network is in NYC."
Elon Day included 38 Elon Day parties held by each of the 38 regional alumni chapters around the world. Furthermore, each party held giving opportunties for guests to continue to make an impact. The special day set new records of philanthropy by raising $2,385,629.00 from 6,376 gifts.
