A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed from 1 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.
As you make preparations for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend 2019 at Elon, be aware that some activities will impact traffic patterns.
Please be advised that a section of East Haggard Avenue between North Williamson and North O’Kelly avenues will be closed on Friday, Nov. 1, from 1 to 10 p.m. for Rock the Block: #ElonHome Community Block Party, part of Elon’s Homecoming & Reunion Weekend celebration that will feature a fair-like environment with family-friendly activities and all-ages entertainment. The event will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Police will be on hand to direct traffic around the closure.
The Town of Elon, Elon University and the N.C. Department of Transportation remind motorists to watch signs for closure information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
