  • Community health status update

Upcoming flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics

We have added two additional COVID-19 vaccine clinics for next week – both will offer the Pfizer bivalent vaccine and are open to students, faculty and staff:

  • Monday, October 3, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Alumni Gym
  • Thursday, October 6, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Alumni Gym

Three flu vaccine clinics are also scheduled for the coming weeks:

  • Tuesday, October 4, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Koury Athletic Center
  • Tuesday, October 11, noon – 5 p.m., Law School
  • Monday, October 17, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Francis Center

Advance sign-up for clinics is available on the Elon Campus Health Status & Alerts website. If you cannot attend a clinic after scheduling an appointment, please cancel your appointment using the link in your confirmation email so all available vaccines are able to be utilized.

Additional clinics will be hosted in October and November, during which students, faculty and staff can receive the flu vaccine and COVID-19 booster at the same time.

In addition to the campus-wide clinics, the Faculty/Staff Health & Wellness Clinic is also offering flu clinics this fall to all employees, retirees and their dependents ages 18 years and over who are covered under Elon’s health insurance. Appointments are available every Wednesday through November 2. Visit the Faculty/Staff Health & Wellness Clinic website for more information and to schedule an appointment.

Save the date for the Faculty/Staff Benefits and Wellness Fair

The Faculty/Staff Benefits and Wellness Fair will be held Tuesday, October 18, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Moseley Center, McKinnon Hall. Additional details will be shared in upcoming Community Health Updates.

Community health status update

Each Tuesday afternoon by 4 p.m. the university COVID-19 webpage is updated with information about the status of COVID-19 in our community. The site also includes a link to the latest information about the CDC COVID-19 community levels, which are currently at medium in Alamance County and low in Guilford County.

Our next Community Health Update will be next Wednesday, October 5 by 10:45 a.m.
