Department of Physics to host first ‘Physics Tea’ event

The weekly social and intellectual event will occur every Wednesday.

Calling all physics enthusiasts and curious minds! We’re excited to invite you to Physics Tea. Hosted by the Department of Physics in the third floor Innovation Quad lounge, this weekly event promises engaging discussions, thought-provoking ideas, and a delightful spread of refreshments. Open to all students, faculty, and staff, this gathering is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow physics aficionados in a relaxed and informal setting.

Our first meeting of the semester on Aug. 23, will feature Associate Professor of Physics Kyle Altmann demonstrating a robot that can move in any direction and discussing physics relevant to robots.
