Aaron Trocki presents at national conference

Trocki, associate professor of mathematics, presented his research at the Transforming STEM Higher Education Conference hosted by the American Association of Colleges and Universities on November 3.

Associate Professor of Mathematics Aaron Trocki was selected to present his peer-reviewed research report, “Promoting Metacognition Through Writing-To-Learn Engagements in STEM,” at the Transforming STEM Higher Education Conference hosted by the American Association of Colleges and Universities on Nov. 3.

He shared the results of a pedagogical intervention in applied calculus. This work was supported by a summer scholarship from the Center for Writing Excellence at Elon.
