Get your resume ready for the Spring Student Employment Fair.
On Thursday, Feb. 27, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., Moseley Center’s McKinnon Hall will be the place to explore campus job opportunities, connect with employers and take a step toward building your skills and experience.
The fair is open to students of all years and majors, offering a chance to discover part-time positions that fit your schedule, interests and career goals. Whether you’re looking for a role to support your professional development, build connections within the Elon community, or simply earn some extra income, this event is a must-attend.
“The Spring Student Employment Fair is an incredible opportunity for Elon students to find meaningful on-campus jobs that help them build essential skills and connect with the campus community,” said Kameryn Taylor, assistant director of Career Services for student employment. “We encourage students to take advantage of this event to explore opportunities and begin conversations with hiring managers who are eager to meet them.”
Elon’s campus jobs are more than just paychecks—they are opportunities to grow, contribute, and prepare for your future.
By attending the Spring Student Employment Fair, you can:
- Explore a variety of roles: From athletics and library services to event management and student life, there is a diverse range of on-campus opportunities available. Explore roles that match your interests and skill sets.
- Connect with hiring departments: Meet representatives from various Elon departments, learn more about their missions and discuss the roles they’re hiring for.
- Build skills and experience: Campus jobs can help you develop transferable skills like time management, teamwork, communication and problem-solving—all of which are valuable to future employers.
- Save time: Instead of reaching out to individual departments, the Employment Fair brings all the opportunities to one location, making it convenient for students to explore their options in a short time frame.

With more employers registering as the event draws near, students are encouraged to stay updated by logging into their Elon Job Network (EJN) accounts. The EJN platform provides an updated list of employers and details about the roles they’re hiring for.
To ensure a successful experience at the Spring Student Employment Fair, keep these tips in mind:
- Come prepared: Review the list of registered employers on EJN ahead of time, so you know which departments you’re most interested in.
- Bring your resume: While some roles may not require it, having a polished resume on hand shows professionalism and preparedness. The SPDC offers resume reviews if you need assistance.
- Dress professionally: While the event is more casual than an career fair, dressing neatly and appropriately helps make a positive impression.
- Be ready to introduce yourself: Practice a brief introduction about yourself, your interests and why you’re excited about a particular role or department.
- Ask questions: This is your chance to learn more about what it’s like to work for a department or organization. Don’t hesitate to ask about job expectations, hours, and opportunities for growth.
Working on campus helps students stay connected to university life, build relationships with peers and mentors and gain valuable experience that aligns with their long-term goals. Plus, these roles are designed to accommodate your academic schedule, making them an ideal option for busy students.
The Spring Student Employment Fair is your chance to take charge of your professional development while contributing to the vibrant Elon community. With so many exciting roles available and more employers signing up every day, this event is the perfect opportunity to find a position that aligns with your skills and interests.
