Elon School of Law highlighted by Reuters for enrollment increase

Elon University's School of Law was highlighted by Reuters for its record-breaking new class of students.

Elon University’s School of Law was recently featured by Reuters in an article titled “Applicant boom drives record first-year law school classes.”

This year, the School of Law enrolled its largest class in the school’s history, welcoming its 20th class to downtown Greensboro from locations across the country.

The article discussed an increase in enrollment at several law schools around the country. It highlighted the school’s Legal Grounds coffee shop, which is bustling with business amid the new students.

“It’s been a boon for the coffee shop,” Elon Law Dean Zak Kramer told Reuters. Kramer added that with a nearly 10% increase in first-year students across its two campuses, the school is working to ensure classrooms have enough chairs and that students are getting the services they need.
