Maurice Koury, a successful business leader and longtime friend of Elon University died March 7 at the age of 86.

The university’s graphic marks and logos have been given a new, bolder look with strong ties to Elon’s heritage and traditions.

The new Richard W. Sankey Hall, to be located just south of Colonnades Dining Hall, will provide classrooms and learning facilities for students in all academic majors. 

The annual awards competition honors outstanding work in communications, fundraising, alumni affairs and admissions recruiting.

Due to the cold temperatures and the forecast for heavy rain, Elon University closed at 3 p.m. Monday. Read this note for details of the revised hours of operation for campus services and resources. The university plans to run on a normal schedule for Tuesday.
