"Visualizing Multiculturalism," an exhibition of student art, debuted to the public Oct. 22 in the Multiculturalism Center at Elon University, and work from School of Communications students was on display. The traveling exhibition, which also featured artwork from students at North Carolina A&T State University, will also be shown at the Center for Visual Artists in downtown Greensboro, N.C., and the Frazier Student Art Gallery on the campus of North Carolina A&T.

The School of Communications will hold its second annual Alumni Wisdom Session titled "Elon 2.0: Success after Elon" and alumni reception starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22 in Studio B in the McEwen Communications building.

Doug Kass, an instructor in the School of Communications, won two national Telly Awards in the 31st Annual Telly Awards Competition for a series of television commercials he wrote and directed.

Michelle Ferrier, an associate professor in the School of Communications, was interviewed by Benet Wilson of the National Association of Black Journalists for BlogTalkRadio.

The Sports Broadcasting class in the School of Communications covered the Elon Phoenix home volleyball match against the University of North Carolina Greensboro Oct. 8. The event was seen live on ElonPhoenix.com via uStream, and it will be rebroadcast on Channel 14 on campus during the next week.
