Murfin received the honorarium for her participation in virtual meetings, contributions to improving the curriculum, submission of data for federal grant reporting/research, and cooperation in delivering the PRAC-ED-PA SUD curriculum to her students. 

The award will support efforts to help students encounter introductory interfaith ideas and tools as they engage within the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence.

The Racial Equity & Interfaith Cooperation Award is part of the IYC's We Are Each Other's Campaign.

The $10,000 grant from the insurance company will support the construction of a home in Burlington, N.C., for a mother and her two daughters.

The grant supports modern pedagogy with a direct emphasis on real data wrangling and visualization techniques using modern computational tools in introductory statistics courses.

The award will provide funding for cooling vests to be used in multiple sclerosis research.
