Juan Obando, assistant professor of art, will be presenting his project proposal, Museum Mixtape, at The Impossible Project artist talk series at Reverse Art Space, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Assistant Professor of Art Juan Obando was recently awarded one of the prestigious 2012 Rhizome Commissions for his MUSEUM MIXTAPE (Dirty South Edition) project.

Professor Michael Sanford exhibited July 17-August 11 at the Soho20 Chelsea Gallery, a non-profit artist run gallery that has been promoting the work of women artists since 1973 through gallery exhibitions and public programming.

Assistant Professor of Art Juan Obando will present "Low Lives: Occupy!" at The Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics in New York City on March 3.

Professor Juan Obando will be presenting some of his current projects at the exhibition Narco Nation | Drug-Borders | Utopian-Futures at Duke University's Fredric Jameson Gallery. The exhibit explores from three perspectives and geographies (Colombia, Mexico and the diasporas in the USA) what is now-called Narco-Culture through visual representation.
