Katie Zach ’04 and Leanne High ’07 visited campus to talk about their past experiences and current roles working in the public relations field, giving students insight into the professional world.

Six faculty members and nine students traveled to Research Triangle Park on March 1 to participate in the public television network’s spring fundraising effort, raising more than $16,000 in donations. 

For the second consecutive year, students studying in the Elon in LA program got an inside look at the festivities leading up to the Academy Awards, the film industry’s biggest night of the year.

Elon University’s student-run strategic communications agency captured two student awards at the Triangle AdFed’s 2016 American Advertising Awards Gala. The event was held on Feb. 18 in downtown Durham.

Elon University senior Meredith Stutz spent a week abroad in January as part of her Pulitzer Center Student Fellowship, collecting insights and opinions while examining the European country’s once devout Catholic population.

The Pendulum, Phi Psi Cli and Colonnades won a total of 22 awards from the North Carolina College Media Association.

Led by Nick Margherita’s first-place finish, several School of Communications students and graduates were recognized in the 2016 Broadcast Education Association’s Festival of Media Arts. Their awards will be presented at the organization's annual conference April 17-20 in Las Vegas.
