The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce the recipients of the Diversity and Inclusion Grants for the 2020-2021 academic year, as well as their project descriptions.

The Elon University graduate was presented with the Emma Bowen Foundation’s Outstanding Student of the Year Award, and will appear in the upcoming “Family of Us: A PBS American Portrait Story” series.

Willem Butler ’22 has been named the national college winner of the first-ever BroadwayWorld “Next On Stage” competition.

Elon Law Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law George R. Johnson Jr. is one of five recipients of an annual honor bestowed by the North Carolina Bar Association's Minorities in the Profession Committee.

An assistant professor of mathematics, Ryu will serve in the role for two years.

The rising senior and communication design major created a three-poster series highlighting sustainability and ways to reduce environmental impact for ICDE’s environmental graphic design contest.

The Communications Fellow and journalism major is the highest ranked first-year student in the award’s history and the first Elon student to be recognized since 2013.
