The Lecturer in Management and faculty advisor for Elon’s chapter named the Chapter Advisor of the Year for the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The assistant professor of international business presented a paper on corporate social responsibility typology at the conference for scholars and specialists in the field of international business.

The award for scholarship and activism from Auburn Seminary was presented Monday, Nov. 19, to Rebecca Todd Peters, professor of religious studies, at the joint annual meetings of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature.

The list is compiled annually by Poets & Quants, a business education news outlet, who also ranked the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business among the country’s top 50 undergraduate business programs.

Now in its 11th year, the program will aid yet another diverse group of faculty in integrating sustainability into academic courses across campus.

The projects and Holly Hodge, director of interior design, were honored in the recent competition for the Association of University Interior Designers. 

The chair of the Communications Department served as one of three members on the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications accreditation site visit team at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. 

Peter Felten, assistant provost for teaching and learning and executive director of the Center for Engaged Learning, was one of two honored with the award at the group's recent annual conference. 

Rebecca Todd Peters, professor of religious studies, was selected for this inaugural cohort to work alongside researchers and staff at the Public Religion Research Institute on policy issues. 

In collaboration with UNC professor Lucinda Austin, the School of Communications faculty member and strategic communications major examined corporate social advocacy and political activism through the case of DICK’s Sporting Goods and the company’s recent stance on gun control reform.
