The annual awards bestowed by the North Carolina Attorney General recognize service that keeps people “safe, healthy and happy in their communities.” Dudley directs Elon Law’s Emergency Legal Services Program.

The CAA Academic Alliance requested applications from the thirteen institutions comprising the Alliance. Nearly 400 applicants responded to the call, with 22 faculty/staff members chosen for the inaugural cohort, including two from Elon University.

Eleven Elon seniors and alumni have been named semifinalists for The Fulbright U.S. Student Program: the largest educational exchange program in the world that offers research, study and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 2,000 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

Four second-year law students competed in the Hassell National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition at Regent University’s School of Law.

The American College Personnel Association honored Jon Dooley, vice president for Student Life and associate professor of education, for his support and guidance throughout Jonathan McElderry’s presidency.
