Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is celebrated in the United States in May. This celebration focuses on achievements and contributions of people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent in the United States.

At its yearly celebration on Wednesday, May 1, the Division of Student Life recognized members for their outstanding leadership, valuable contributions, and notable successes.

Twenty-nine members of the Class of 2025 demonstrated their legal writing skills this spring during a pursuit of membership in the Elon Law Review and the We The People journal, Elon University School of Law's student-run scholarly publications.

Among the award recipients were Katy Boehmer-Abbott ’24, who was named Major of the Year, and Cedar Zobel-Williams ’24, who earned the James P. Drummond Service Award.

Five students were inducted into The Iota North Carolina Chapter of the Lambda Alpha National Anthropology Honor Society.

The 2024 Center for Writing Excellence Multimodal Writing Contest winners honored at a recent awards ceremony.

Forty-Seven Martha and Spence Love School of Business students were inducted into Elon’s Chapter of Sigma Iota Epsilon.

Through a two-year fellows program, the five students in this multidisciplinary cohort will undertake mentored undergraduate research projects, enroll in specialized coursework, and engage in community-based learning with diverse religious communities.
