Jeff Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, was one of eight Elon faculty members featured this year in "Passionately Curious," the annual Elon University President's Report. 

Through its new Elon IT Decoded video series, the Office of Information Technology looks to introduce staff, while educating the Elon community about services, tools and partnerships.

The article notes Elon's leading role in transforming the traditional transcript and the challenges institutions face in trying to capture the full range of experiences students have. 

His research focused on clean air laws, jobs and the Great Recession in Pennsylvania.

The Department of Religious Studies faculty will collaborate with colleagues from the University of St. Thomas and Augsburg University on the $7,500 Wabash Center grant.
