Elon University students, faculty and staff visited the center on the first floor of Belk Library to learn more about support and services available to the campus community.

The assistant professor of religious studies presented a paper titled "New Rituals for New Audiences: Sweetening the Goddess in Urban South India" and served as a delegate from the American Academy of Religion to the International Association for the History of Religion's Special Conference in Liverpool.

Registration is still open to join faculty and students from around the world in Raleigh, N.C., for an October conference organized by the university's Center for Engaged Learning.

Elon alumna Amanda Bienz '12, Assistant Professor of Mathematics Karen Yokley and Associate Professor of Mathematics Crista Arangala recently published the article "Magic Polygrams," which investigates arrays of numbers similar to magic squares.

Shawn Tucker, associate professor of fine arts, edited the special issue of  Interdisciplinary Humanities, which is the flagship scholarly journal in his discipline.
