Research from two School of Education faculty, and two current undergraduate students was presented at the American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting in Toronto.

The assistant professor of sociology presented research on cross-national patterns in the justification of violence and "crimes of everyday life."

The paper by Idris, an assistant professor of anthropology, is part of an ongoing research project that aims to understand the resettlement experiences of refugees from Africa and Asia in North Carolina.

Professor of Anthropology Tom Mould will serve a three-year term on the executive board of the national society.

Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler, professor of psychology, was the mentor for both projects.

Resa Walch, senior lecturer in wellness, was honored for her 22 years of service to Elon University by the School of Education faculty and staff on April 3, 2019, in the McBride Gathering Space.
