The five annual awards acknowledge excellence in teaching, mentoring, scholarship and service-leadership among faculty and staff in Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

Professor of Physics Emeritus Pranab Das has been selected by the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics to serve as a senior fellow for fall 2024.

Book joins other higher education presidents and chancellors from across the country on the board of the American Council on Education, an organization with a membership of more than 1,600 colleges, universities and other higher education entities.

In her Opening Day 2024 remarks, President Connie Ledoux Book took faculty and staff back thirty years ago to emphasize the university’s transformation, but also focus on what remains constant: the university’s commitment to people and relationships for the 2024-25 academic year and beyond.

Elon University Los Angeles summer students gathered with alumni and special guests for an end-of-summer semester celebration at historic Sony Pictures Studios.

Moreau, a lecturer in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, was recognized for her poem “Break the Hen."

Clark, professor of mathematics, attended the Mathematical Association of America's MathFest and, as outgoing chair of the Committee on Minicourses, monitored one of minicourses offered there. He also presented a short paper on the use of animations in multivariable calculus.
