Elon University’s Isabella Cannon Global Education Center (GEC) has announced its upcoming lineup of Winter Term study away programs, offering students unique opportunities to earn academic credit while immersing themselves in other cultures.

The immersive program combines competition with education as student-athletes learn about a different culture while competing against competitors from another country and offering guidance to young athletes.

The four students from Braye’s fall semester course "COR 4330: The Impact of Studying Abroad" challenged faculty and study abroad staff to re-think standard re-entry programs and engage with their returning students.

Elon University Los Angeles launched a commitment to community service last year, which has since served to both immerse students into the community and culture of LA, as well as giving back to those in need.

During Winter Term 2025, members of the Master of Arts in Higher Education community traveled to São Paulo, Brazil to learn more about higher education in Brazil and how to create collaborative, reciprocal, and genuine relationships with international institutions and organizations.

Presented by the School of Communications Inclusive Excellence Committee, the interactive event brought together students, faculty, staff and alumni to discuss a broad range of issues related to inclusivity in communications, journalism and the media.

Through a new partnership, the Human Services Studies students worked alongside local families, running a camp-style activity center for children on their school holidays.

The Meet and Greet will be Wednesday, March 5 from 3 to 5 p.m in Snow Atrium.
