Volunteers needed to help at the Blessed Sacrament School after school program.  

A Wednesday program in McKinnon Hall will offer the campus community reflections from Elon University faculty and a current student from Ferguson, Missouri, about the recent police shooting death there of a young unarmed black man.

The first Elon University Poll of the fall semester will ask residents of North Carolina about their opinions on various social, economic and political issues.  

Kick-off service is at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 27. Time moves to 7 p.m. for all other services in the Sacred Space, Numen Lumen Pavilion.
