Several journalism students pace Elon in the prestigious national contest.

A trio from the Class of 2014, including one student who was among the first to complete the requirements of the university’s new Peace Corps Prep Program, will soon head around the world to serve local communities.

Elon earns a national platform to showcase growing efforts around LGBTQIA inclusion and intersectionality across race, faith, socioeconomic status, disability, U.S. geographic region, and national origin.

Rising senior Amber Schmiesing, whose work with film was inspired by her experience in the "Elon in L.A." program, won the Dance Camera West film festival's Emerging Artist Second Runner Up Award for an original dance film. 

Led by the Office of Sustainability, a May program designed to keep clean and working items out of landfills as students leave campus helped local charities like Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity.
