Elon University professors Laura Roselle and Joel Karty have been selected as Senior Faculty Research Fellows for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years.

Elon University Provost Steven House has named two longtime faculty members, Connie Book and Tim Peeples, to associate provost positions. Both begin their new duties on June 1, 2010.

Heidi White, associate director of Study Abroad, was part of a curriculum development team and served as lead trainer for a workshop titled “Health, Safety, and Responsibility in Education Abroad” at the NAFSA Region VII conference in Knoxville, Tenn.

Jodean Schmiederer, assistant dean of students, and Mary Wise, assistant vice president for academic affairs, gave an Oct. 18 presentation titled “Changing a Campus Culture to Promote Honor” at the 2009 International Conference on Academic Integrity at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
