Beta Alpha Psi has selected Professor Susan Anderson as the 2018 Business Professional of the Year in the category of Education.

Elon’s chapter of the international honor organization for financial information students and professionals earned second place in the Best Practices competition.

The honor organization initiated 20 students during a spring semester ceremony.

Susan Anderson, professor of accounting, offered her insights into the implications of the proposed tax reform plan on nonprofits stemming from her recent article on the topic for The Conversation.

Participants of the seminar attended a variety of sessions covering topics from developments in state taxation to broad ethical issues facing CPAs. 

Paula Weller and Pieter Swanepoel, both of the Department of Accounting, were recognized as scholarship recipients at the Lean Accounting and Manufacturing Summit.

Ray Knight, professor of accounting, researched the impact of random changes in allocations of partnerships.
