Timaura Barfield, Sarah Rozek and David Wheaton - members of Elon Law’s Class of 2018 - accepted distinguished work placements as part of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession 1L Summer Associate Program.

The Elon Law Alumni Association recognized Kristin Thompson Seum '10 L'13, Jim Grant L’12, Adrianne Edmonds Poe L'11 and Angelique Ryan L'16 for contributions to their professions, their communities, and their alma mater during Elon Law Alumni Reunion Weekend.

The North Carolina Bar Association’s 2017 Law Student Group Pro Bono Award recognizes efforts at Elon Law to help regional attorneys who represent asylum seekers fleeing persecution in their home countries.

Elon Law students built professional networks and learned more about opportunities in specific areas of law during a weeklong event welcoming more than 40 alumni back to campus.

The opportunity to work full-time in a course-connected legal environment has already "exceeded expectations" of students in the Class of December 2017 whose experiential learning is unlike that found at other law schools.
