Frankel is focused on creating community at Elon's student radio station.

The Piedmont District 7690 Rotary Club only awards one Global Grant, but due to increased funding and the strength of Elon’s applicants, the Club was pleased to award grants this year to three Elon alumni.

Representatives from McKinney, Pace Communications and APCO Worldwide visited the award-winning, student-run communications agency to share insights and foster connections.

Ryan Harper ’25, Tess Hawthorne ’25 and Cierra Hopson ’25 lead the way as the first Elon University students to earn Advanced Data Competency Badges from Data Nexus, showcasing their exceptional skills in data analysis, interpretation and application in the workforce.

Daniel Quackenbush's time at Elon University proved formative when working on production teams for major documentaries like Netflix's "Gaga: Five Foot Two" and HBO's "Believer."

Cheng "Chris" Chen, assistant professor of communication design, worked with a team of researchers at Penn State University to better understand AI-driven "online symptom checkers."

During her Nov. 1 acceptance speech, the Elon alumna shared her inspiring journey from an uncertain post-graduation start to becoming executive editor of PR Daily. Her story highlights the importance of resilience, curiosity and embracing unexpected paths.

“Confessions of a Christmas Letter,” written by Jennifer Smith ’95 and her sister Kate Smith, premiered on the Hallmark Channel Nov. 17.

Hosted in conjunction with the Department of Sport Management, the Nov. 8 event brought together students, faculty and industry professionals to discuss critical issues and insights through engaging networking sessions, classroom visits, and an afternoon panel in Turner Theatre.

Pallander hopes to get students from all majors involved, as she gears up to publish the 76th volume of the university’s literary and art journal.
