From student leader to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Nikki Sanz ’18 is changing the live event industry. After touring with music legends, she founded Giggs to modernize hiring for "gig" workers. Now an Elon Top 10 Under 10 award winner, Sanz is building a more inclusive professional community for the next generation.

Students in the yearlong documentary film production program gained behind-the-scenes access to Durham’s Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, one of the world’s leading showcases for nonfiction cinema.

Gary Grumbach ’16 will receive the Elon Top 10 Under 10 Alumni Award for his distinguished career as a Legal Affairs Reporter at NBC News. His impressive journey began at Elon University, where he honed his skills at Elon Local News before making his mark in the fast-paced world of journalism.

During a study abroad program in Prague, Alex McCollum ’27 produced a short film as part of an intensive, hands-on filmmaking experience. The project has since gained traction on the festival circuit, earning multiple honors and nominations.

The assistant professor of strategic communications examined the language young adults use to describe unwanted sexual experiences, offering insights that can strengthen prevention messaging and health communication strategies.

Using proprietary data from Relo Metrics, students evaluated sponsorship performance across leagues, including Formula 1, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, the National Hockey League, the National Football League and NCAA Division I football.
