Roberts, a professor of law and sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, delivered the Periclean Scholars Guest Lecture on Thursday evening in Whitley Auditorium.

The lecture is a part of The Elon University Speaker Series 2022-23, presented by WUNC North Carolina Public Radio, which will explore the theme of "Living Well in a Changing World."

Cervantes will read from her newest collection of poems, "April on Olympia," and her previous five books during a Liberal Arts Forum-hosted event on Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Whitley Auditorium.
