The Department of Performing Arts presents the 2019 spring dance concert. Four performances, Thursday-Sunday in McCrary Theatre. Admission is $15 or Phoenix ID at the Center for the Arts Box Office. For information, call (336) 278-5610

Amernet String Quartet, the Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida International University, performs in Whitley Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free,  no ticket required.

The English Department hosts the 7:30 p.m. reading in Johnston Hall. 

Alamance County's science café meets on the second Tuesday of each month during the academic year. 

The John Jay School of Criminal Justice criminologist and leading expert on corporate crime, global financial crises, and corruption will speak in Yeager Recital Hall at 7 p.m.

Cultural and historical geographer Derek Alderman examines race, memory and heritage of the American South and how they shape current cultural landscapes. 

The Music Department and Music Production and Recording Arts program offer two days of events focused on the contributions of women in the current music and entertainment industry. 

The author will present from her recent book exploring intersections of racial justice, faith and black womanhood.

Elon BrainCARE Research Institute and the Department of Exercise Science host  top women scholars and practitioners in the science and management of sports concussions and related issues.
