Cultural Programs

Service opportunities, gatherings and other special programs at Elon during January will commemorate the life and work of the late civil rights leader. 

Hill, a professor at Brandeis University and head of the Hollywood Commission on Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality in the Workplace, will deliver the Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Address on Jan. 10. 

Green's "Something Must be Done About Prince Edward County" is Elon's Common Reading selection for 2018-19. Her visit is hosted by the Elon Core Curriculum and the Office of Cultural and Special Programs. 

The department's winter show written by Christine Evans and directed by Kim Shively returns for spring term performances in Roberts Studio Theatre, Arts West. 

The annual winter term lecture will be held in Alumni Gym, Koury Athletic Center, at 6 p.m.

Scott Spurlock, assistant professor of computing sciences is the special guest at December's science café.

The 2016 film by David Macián is part of the IV Hispanic Film Series
that runs from Sept. 21 through Nov. 30.
