Although applications are open until March, now is the time to apply for Elon in Alaska, Elon in D.C. and Elon in L.A. in order to secure a space and find an ideal internship.

The Elon associate professor of art and environmental studies collaborated with poet and landscape theorist Jolie B. Kaytes for the project, Gathering Dust: Sediment/Sentiment, which will be on view at Virginia's well-known Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria through Dec. 1.

Seven faculty members will take part in a program that will allow them to incorporate or enhance a focus on sustainable principles and practices in their courses.

A fellowship created by Elon University in 2008 will help support excellence in ongoing research and creative work by Janet MacFall, Drew Perry and Anthony Weston.
