Lavender Graduation is a ceremony held by Elon's LGBTQ Coordinator to congratulate and celebrate LGBTQIA undergraduate seniors and graduate students who graduated in December 2012 or will graduate in May 2013.

 

Join the LGBTQ Coordinator and Spectrum in a screening of Brother Outsider on Tuesday, January 22nd at 7pm in McEwen 011.

Students, professors & staff took part in a Friday walk to honor the civil rights struggle while pledging to combat remaining oppression.

A celebration of the life and legacy of the civil rights pioneer takes place Jan. 15-21, 2013, and features opportunities for service.

Kirstin Ringelberg, associate professor of art history and coordinator of Elon's LGBTQ Office, with assistance from student Laura Lee Sturm, was awarded $1,630 from the Alliance for Full Acceptance to support sending student Spectrum members to LGBTQQ conferences.

In between the cheers of the crowd at Rhodes Stadium and the traditional Homecoming experiences at Elon, alumni had the opportunity to celebrate Elon's LGBTQIA network.

More than 40 Elon faculty, staff, students and alumni gathered for the inaugural LGBTQIA Alumni Summit March 30-31.

Leaders of Elon's new LGBTQIA Alumni Network gathered on campus July 21, setting the group's goals, outlining its organization and planning events.
