Health Promotion

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, university departments, academic courses, student organizations and community partners have come together to create events to raise awareness about gender-based violence, engage in prevention and support survivors. 

Elon Feminists For Equality, Change and Transformation (EFFECT) present Eve Ensler's play on Valentine's Day. Two performances in Whitley Auditorium at 6:30 and 9 p.m.

The article focused on the work of SPARKS Peer Educators to help teach students about healthy relationships and decision-making.  

Students, faculty, staff and community partners have united to develop and promote bystander intervention to prevent sexual violence at Elon, with students offered the opportunity to lead campus conversations.

Chimi Boyd-Keyes will be coming to Elon on Tuesday, Feb. 28, to host the workshop “Social Change Initiatives.”​

New undergraduate and transfer students should submit these materials to Elon’s Student Health Services as soon as possible. 

Students, faculty and staff at Elon University will join others across the nation in celebrating Denim Day on April 27 by wearing denim jeans in support for survivors of sexual assault and to stand together against victim blaming.

On Thursday, April 21, "T-Shirt", a student made narrative short film, will be screening in the Global Commons Media Room from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
