Hillary McDonald, third-year PA student attended the 2019 Triangle Health Innovation Challenge (thinc) held Feb. 1-3. The 3-day hackathon held at the Duke School of Medicine joined teams of students from the Triangle's regional colleges and universities to solve pressing problems in healthcare.

The meeting was held Jan. 23-26 in Washington, D.C., with 17,000 people attending.

Shefali Christopher, assistant professor of physical therapy education, worked with the athletes at the World Parathriathlon Championship in Iseo, Italy.

Assistant professors Tracey Thurnes and Cindy Bennett in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies recently authored articles that appeared in a variety of publications.
