Two guest speakers visit campus in May to discuss Appalachian media stereotypes in conjunction with an Elon Honors Fellow thesis photo exhibition that features intimate photostories of 10 community members in Appalachia.

An April 7 dinner and ceremony featured a keynote address by Jill McCorkle, a critically acclaimed author of Southern literature.

The professor of human service studies worked with Lauren Taylor '10 and Jamie Albright '13 on recently completed studies that have been published or presented to international audiences.
