TONIGHT: Lynn Huber to deliver the Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture

Huber, Maude Sharpe Powell Professor, professor of religious studies and director of the Honors Program, was recognized with the Distinguished Scholar Award in August 2020 for her impressive portfolio of books, articles, book reviews and other work in her academic discipline.

Monday night program will examine Afrofuturism in rap music

"An Introduction to Afrofuturism in Rap" is part of the Rap, Race, Gender and Philosophy course. The program is also part of the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity's Black History Month events around "Imagining a Black Future."
