Kristen Sullivan, assistant professor in the Human Service Studies department, co-authored an article on violence within military families in the latest edition of the journal Violence and Victims. The article is titled "Male Soldier Family Violence Offenders: Spouse and Child Offenders Compared to Child Offenders."

Cynthia Fair, an associate professor of human services, has published an article in the Journal of HIV/AIDS Prevention in Children and Youth. "'I don’t want to sit by you:' A Preliminary Study of Stories and Consequences of Stigma and Discrimination from HIV-positive Mothers and their Children” included interviews with HIV-positive women and their uninfected children about experiences of stigma and discrimination.
Human Services students raise HIV/AIDS awareness
