Martha and Spencer Love School of Business kicks off anniversary year

The announcement of two major gifts highlighted a 25th anniversary gala event for Elon University's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. Students, faculty, staff and friends of the school gathered Feb. 5 to kick off a yearlong celebration of the school's founding in 1985. The gala featured the announcements of major gifts by Elon parent and trustee David Porter and the Martha and Spencer Love Foundation.

Feb. 3–Mark White, CFO SAP Americas

Mark White, chief financial officer of SAP North America and a member of the Love School of Business Board of Advisors, will be giving a presentation on Thursday, February 3, from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in LaRose Digital Theater, Koury Business Center. The program is open to all Elon students. A reception will follow.

Economics faculty members present research in New York City

Katy Rouse, assistant professor, James Barbour, associate professor, Greg Lilly, associate professor, Jen Platania, associate professor, and Steve DeLoach, professor, all presented new research this past weekend at the Eastern Economics Association’s annual meetings in New York City.
