David Noer, a professor emeritus in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, had his monthly column published May 9, 2010, by the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C.

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business will offer four new majors starting this fall - finance, marketing, management and entrepreneurship - as well as a new degree and two new minors. The new degree is a bachelor of science in business administration.

Three Elon students were named national winners in the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Awards contest May 5.

Associate professor Brian Nienhaus has been selected as the first Periclean Faculty Leader at Elon for his “Business and Sustainability” course, part of the new Periclean Faculty Leadership Program to champion civic engagement in the classroom, on the campus, and in the community.

Twenty rising juniors and seniors traveled to Charlotte on April 23 to visit Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America for an exclusive banking/finance industry trip sponsored by Elon Career Services and the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

The best and brightest of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business were honored April 29 in an afternoon awards ceremony that highlighted the achievements of both students and faculty.
