Sarah Thomas named Director of Undergraduate Programs in Love School of Business

Sarah Thomas has been named Director of Undergraduate Programs in the Love School of Business. Sarah graduated from Elon in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in education and received her MBA from Elon in 2009. She previously worked in the Admissions office, and most recently served as Director of Community Relations and Special Events in the Athletics department.

Tina Das, professor of Economics and Casey DiRienzo, associate professor of Economics and associate dean of the Love School of Business, have had their paper, "Assessing terrorist risk and FDI using relative information measures," published in Applied Economics Letters. The paper was co-authored with Anthony Mancuso of SAS Institute in Cary, NC.

Elon MBA Golf Tournament to be held June 26

The third annual Elon MBA Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 26, at Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane. The tournament is sponsored by the Elon MBA Student-Alumni Association. All proceeds will go to the Elon Academy, a college-access program for academically talented high-school students in Alamance County with financial need.
